Drew Fromkin
President and Chief Executive Officer of Clinical Data, Inc.

Mr. Fromkin became President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Clinical Data, Inc. in May 2006.  He has led the rapid transformation of Clinical Data from a traditional clinical chemistry company into a high-value biotechnology company with two late-stage drug candidates, a pipeline of targeted therapeutics, and marketed genetic tests. Mr. Fromkin previously served as President and CEO of DoctorQuality, Inc., a leading provider of patient safety products and condition management services, which was acquired by Quantros, Inc., and President and Chief Executive Officer of Endo Surgical Devices, Inc.

From 1993-2000, Mr. Fromkin worked for Medco, which became a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck & Co., Inc. in 1994. He served as Vice President, Business Development from 1995-2000 and led Corporate Development activities including alliance development, M&A and other strategic initiatives that propelled Medco’s transformation into the integrated health provider it is today. From 1993-1995, Mr. Fromkin served as Vice President, Sales to large employer, health insurer and government accounts.

Mr. Fromkin began his career in 1988 at Health Information Technologies, a leader in electronic data interchange between physicians and healthcare payers. There he served as Director, Marketing and GM Monitoring Corp. of America, the company’s subsidiary.  He received a B.A. in Biology, from Brandeis University.
