Carol Reed, M.D., Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer – Dr. Reed joined Clinical Data in October 2005 following the completion of the Company’s merger with Genaissance Pharmaceuticals where Dr. Reed had served as that Company’s Vice President, Medical Affairs since 2003. Dr. Reed joined Genaissance from Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she was an Associate Medical Director in Pulmonary Medical Research. Previously, she was the Associate Director, Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, at the Hospital of St. Raphael and directed its Medical Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Reed received a M.S. in biology from the University of Illinois and a M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago.
