Clinical Data is organized under two worldwide divisions segmented by service offerings and client constituencies.

PGxHealth™
The Therapeutic Diagnostics division, PGxHealth, builds upon existing assets acquired from Genaissance Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in the areas of genomics-based, clinical diagnostics, therapeutic efficacy and safety biomarker development for drug utilization. PGxHealth plans to develop and introduce novel Therapeutic Diagnostics in combination with new and existing therapeutics. Therapeutic Diagnostics comprise unique genomics-based diagnostic tests, including biomarker tests, for use in conjunction with a drug therapeutic to better target the use of that therapeutic to the most appropriate patient populations with genomes that can elicit an appropriate drug response thereby improving the efficiency and therapeutic outcomes.

Cogenics™
Clinical Data’s Pharmacogenomics and Molecular Services division, Cogenics, consolidates the operations of Genaissance Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Lark Technologies, Inc. and Icoria, Inc., each acquired in 2005, and Genome Express SA, acquired in 2006. Cogenics provides a comprehensive range of molecular and pharmacogenomics services leveraging Clinical Data's cutting-edge technology platform in advanced genomics to pharmaceutical, biotech, academia, agricultural, and government clients. These services are offered in both research and regulated environments and have applications across the life cycle of pharmaceutical product development including pharmacovigilance requirements post-launch for companies engaged in drug discovery and development.
